Connect your device to the controller
- 3 Step setup: In power-off status, select the mode and power on again for booting. Click to Video
- Select gamepad mode per your device in the table.
- Press the 'Power' button for 3 seconds. The default is Android mode. S5 remember the last selected mode until you change it.
- Press the 'Pairing button' on the front side for more than 3 seconds and find ‘SHAKS S5 xxxx ’ on the device & click to pair.
- S5 is not supporting Xbox, Switch, PS4 consoles.
- In the same device, S5 is automatically pairing again whenever you use it again without the pairing process again (Auto-repairing)
- S5 can be paired to one device per an exactly matched mode. If you wish to switch from one device to another, please delete previously log data from your device to de-activate its automatic repairing feature. And make a new pairing process.
- The mode can be initialized by booting. During power-on status, the mode change is not validated. Once you change mode, please reboot it by power off and on again.

- S5 support Mac OS Big Sur or later of Mac OS
- S5 can not be in two OS devices by turn. It can be paired automatically to one device if the other device is not available (power off, out of distance, or BT disabled). But if two OS is on at the same time, it can automatically be paired to only one device. Once it is paired into one device, S5 can't pair another.

- Connecting: Please proceed “Pairing” process and check Bluetooth name “Xbox Wireless Controller”. If you did pair it already, S5 will be automatically repaired.

- Now you are ready to play games with mapped keys on your device! Only when you are in the mapping mode you can use touch keys as gamepad controllers that you set up.
Connecting with an Android Device
Note) If you want to play mapping mode at the same Android device, please delete “SHAKS S5 xxxx Android” from your device BT setting, then newly connect it in Mapping Mode (for Android only)”. It is the same vice versa.
Connecting with a Windows, Mac OS, Chromebook
If your PC does not support Bluetooth, please use “Wired Mode” or install Bluetooth dongle (any standard BT 4.1 or higher) additionally.

Connecting on Mapping Mode (for Android only)
Note) If you want to play mapping mode at the same Android device, please delete “SHAKS S5 xxxx Android” from your device BT setting, then newly connect it in Mapping Mode (for Android only)”. It is same vice versa.
- Wired connecting with a USB Cable for Windows, Android device
- Connecting: Power off, then keep pressing ‘Pairing Button’, then connect to the host device using a USB cable (Sequence Important - 1st pressing and then power connect). The host device will detect the gamepad automatically.
- When completed: LED signals #2,3,4,5 turn off and #1 lights up.
- Recommended to use Windows 10 or later. If you are using Windows 7, please install “Xbox 360 driver” driver first on your PC that you can find on our website.
- With USB C to USB C cable, you can use “wired mode” with a smartphone, connecting as "Xbox compatible gamepad". It follows X-input protocol.

Power on again, press "Select+L1" button again for booting. And check the mode. If not it is not in the right model, repeat this process until you see the right LED position to match the mode you want to match. The mode will change sequentially from Android→Windows, Mac→ iOS→ Android Mapping.
